The final will take place on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, during Horeca Expo Gent.
This final is a national competition held for the general public.
The competition is open to all young individuals and/or students with a Belgian passport, who will be a maximum of 22 years old on January 22, 2023 (!) (thus born after 22/01/2001).
- Participants must not be older than 22 years on the day of the world final in January 2025.
- Therefore, the participant can be born no earlier than February 1, 2002.
- The participant must be available for participation in the European Final in Trondheim, Norway, on March 19 & 20, 2024, as well as the possible participation in the world final in Lyon, France, in January 2025.

You will always receive an email confirmation upon receipt of your dossier.
The winner will represent Belgium as a commis alongside the selected chef at the European final in 2022 and the Bocuse d’Or 2023 world final.
